Tango Dancing: The Past With DJ Murat Meriç – TURQUAZZ

Tango Dancing: The Past with DJ Murat Meric

14th March / 19:00
Exmouth Market Centre, Clerkenwell

Jazz was introduced through tangos in Turkey. Turkish Tango is a variation on the Argentine dance form and from the mid 1920s onwards was one of the most popular forms of music in Turkey for decades. DJ Murat Meric will be spinning some very old vinyls with dancing very much encouraged.

A free 1-hour tango workshop to start at 6pm is included in the ticket price. The workshop will be led by Argentine Tango teacher Rene Hellemons, co-founder of TANGO-FEVER.

Don’t miss this opportunity!
